sizing, and sprinkler head spacing to ensure adequate water distribution and pressure.
4. Design Layout: Creating a detailed plan showing the location of sprinkler heads, piping routes, control valves,
and any necessary fire department connections.
5. Material Selection: Selecting appropriate types of sprinkler heads, pipe materials, fittings, and other system
components based on factors such as occupancy, hazard classification, and aesthetic considerations.
6. Coordination with Other Trades: Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate
the sprinkler system design with other building systems, such as electrical, HVAC, and structural elements.
7. Hydraulic Riser Design: Designing the hydraulic riser system, including the location, sizing, and arrangement
of risers, as well as pressure-reducing valves and backflow prevention devices.
8. Preparation of Construction Documents: Creating detailed construction drawings, specifications, and
